    Such Thing as Mixed-Shot Ammo?

Sorry, I'm not a super-duper shotgun expert so the next question may sound plain dumb. I'm bored at home however and I have a question.

Besides loading the shells yourself, is there a company that makes "mixed shot" ammunition? Maybe something like #4 buckshot mixed with #4 birdshot?

I know it's probably a silly question, I am simply bored and making conversation, hopefully nobody minds.

obviously this ammo would seem good for HD but i would stray away from it. seems too unpredictable. would like to see how it patterns though

Remington used to make bird shot shells with 2 different size shot in them. I think they were called Duplex.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Also search for "malaysian load" for history; used by the Brits back when.

I saw some ammo where there'd be a slug and several 00 buckshot.

I still have some Remington Duplex 1x3 steel that i've used for ducks.

It was an answer to initial steel shot problems that have ended with new materials.

Aquila makes their mini-shells in a #4/#1 buck combo. I don't know if they make it in full length shells as well.
