Norcal Skeet Clinic Notes

We started the first clinics of the 2015 season on April 18th and April 25. Both clinics were attended by shooters new to clays so we kept it focused on the basic principles of stance, focus, leads and follow through. We also touched base with hold points and look points. It seemed to work and clays were a break'n....good job shooters!

One note of interest with Beretta SA shotguns and fit. I noticed the same when I shopped for a 400 earlier this year, most need to be shimmed for cast off to fit better and all three at the clinics were also in need of cast off. Any one with a 300 or 400 have the same fit issue?

Anyway….had a good time teaching and hope to see more shotgunners come and learn a new level of skill in 2015, next Clinic is May 16th.

On my A400 Xplor Unico and now my A400 Xcel, I use the cast off shim for proper fit (I shoot right handed).
