Benelli M3 - need scope rails

Anyone know a rail system/mount I can use on my M3 that will not be a perm modification? I know MESA makes them for the M1/M4 but I don't think they work for the M3.

    Anyone know for sure?

Looking to put a lightweight red dot on the M3.

Aimtech may offer a solution for you with their saddle mounts. However, the best option is to tap and drill for a mount.

Be careful adding weight to the top of the receiver. There is a threshold beyond which the weight will start to interfere with the inertia system in S/A.

Keep it under a pound. Less is always better. Hence, tap and drill is the better option. New production M3 receivers are pre-tapped.
