Since when did they start tipping he R/O's?

I've been coming here for close to 5 years now and never seen anyone tip the kids on the chair. Today I've seen everyone tip them. Since when did that all start?

Honestly, the clay shooting at Camp Pendleton is much better (and cheaper) than Prado. Plus unlimited clays for missed/no bird shots.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

I've been tipping the pullers there since I started shooting there ten years ago. Where have you been?

An extra 35 min drive better? Prado is only 35 min from me. Reason we go there.

Been a cheap @$$ apparently. Now I know to take a few bucks next time I go.

I've seriously NEVER seen anyone hand them money until today. I thought maybe he was just slangin dope on the side or something.

Yep, it's worth the drive for me. With $3 games (and 10 games get one free). Free pulls on every miss or no bird. Better voice tech, laid back attitude, no "key," and multiple piggyback matches, it's worth it.

I've been wanting to check out this place. But on the website, it says no centerfire rifles and then i see pictures of people with ARs. Can someone clarify. I was assuming the ARs are for some kind of event/match.

A buck or two a round from each of the shooters is fine.

hope none of you are that big group that hogs trap range 3 every time i go.

since some act with a "this is ours only" attitude for something that is open to all paying customers.

Nope. Not us. Never shot trap in my life.

I have noticed some guys tend to stake territory when at clay fields. I was taught and raised just the opposite. Embrace and welcome all other shooters to enjoy their day as well. No one has a good time unless everyone has a good time and usually volunteer to sit out so others who just arrived can jump on and be apart of the rotation.

Gives is an excuse to mingle, shoot the sh** and rest the shouldures a sec

I shoot with that group and while everyone has their own character and personality - most everyone is willing to let you try their guns, help a new shooter out, offer food if people brought some, etc. anyone's welcome to rotate in - that's how that group came about; a bunch of random people that ended up running into each other at the range and became shooting buddies.

Tipping depends on the puller. Some are very helpful and some I would pay to stay away.

Hi Ray. I haven't shot with you guys for some time but always thought that everyone, especially Saxman, bent over backwards to help new shooters out.

You're not supposed to "hog" a trap or skeet field, they should have some kind of rotation for each group. Next time, put your shotgun on the gun rack and stand there, making it clear you want to shoot. If they won't let you, you should inform the range staff.
