Going to cerakote my Benelli M2

Hey everyone,

I want to change the color of my M2. It's currently in the "real tree" pattern, but after about 4 years, I've never been able to get used to it. Does anyone know a consistently good cerakote applicator in the Central Valley? Also, what should I expect to pay for a full 28" shotgun to be re-coated a solid black?

I paid $300 to have Griswold bros do a entire AR for me awhile back.
I'll be doing my M2T here in a few weeks when my buddy gets his oven set up.

Bump on this! Finally going to get my 870 rustomatic done. Any decent cerokoters with a ffl for options not close to the Central Valley?

Are you sure on black? There's lots of other cool options. A grey or green can look really good and can be a lot more subtle than black.

I'm going burnt bronze as a good looking/semi camo option.

I'm pretty sure about black. Black is clean and simple for me. The realtree is busy and distracting, especially when shooting. An olive green may be possible, but I think black floats my boat best.

the great Nutnfancy once showed how Flat Dark Earth mono-tone uses the natural shadows of the irregularly shaped gun to break up the silhouette, thus no 'camo' required.

Isn't Real Tree etc a plastic sheet, and wouldn't that need to be taken completely off BEFORE any bake on paint job? (or any paint job?).

Sounds like sending a vinyl topped car into the paint shop for a quick spray. Totally Bubba hot ghetto mess waiting to happen.
