    local gunsmith question

Hi, I need to get a 1/2" taken off my shotgun. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the Sacramento(or surrounding area). Thanks!!!

I think very highly of J&G in Granite Bay. They have several talented gunsmiths and I know that many people send their firearms from out of state to have J&G work on them. Bring them your shotgun and see what they say. Best of luck!

I haven't found anything Maraviov can't do and do VERY well.

I have used both of the shops noted (J&G, Maraviov) with great results. I have friends who have used them too.

              Okay, I was thinking barrel
Would a thin recoil pad work for you, such as:

It's funny you would mention kickeezproducts.
My instructor suggested a 1" kickeez pad with the adjustment..they look pretty sweet.

I've used them for years, on all my and my wife's shotguns. They weren't that durable (replaced twice a year on our trap guns), but the comfort they give was worth the expense.

                          Oh....STOCK!!!

                          Either/or of those places.
                          Not a tough job.
Good saw and careful work all that's needed.

I, too, was stymied on "barrel" cut of half inch. But....I figure....

I agree. Maraviov does GREAT work, but because he's so good, do not be surprised if it takes him 2-3 months to complete the job.
