Does anybody own one of these shotguns and are you happy with it?
I cleared up my shotgun purchasing issue and noticed the H&R Pardner Pump 20 gauge available at a local Big 5 for $219.
When I asked to see it and asked questions, the guy said it's "a good shotgun in my opinion if you don't mind that it's made in China."
I don't mind the China part honestly. I care more that it's a reliable gun. I've had some reliable Chinese things so just because somethings made in China, I don't necessarily get turned off. I mean they tend to have the manufacturing thing down to a science.
By the way, in case anyone is wondering about why I'm considering a second shotgun, this is for my 15 year old son and we go out shooting in the desert regularly and this model seems a lot more compact than a typical shotgun (18 1/2 barrel, short stock, etc.)
