    need help ID a choke

I was given a choke by a friend and it has no marking what so ever on it he was given it by his uncle but it didnt fit his gun so his uncle said pass it to me. He doesnt know what kind it is but said his uncle a big waterfowl hunter swore by it. Anyway after some looking i think its a patternmaster. If so could anyone tell me which one it is and if steel loads are ok with them due to constriction? It has 5 tabs inside if that helps.
Any help is appreciated. Sorry such a horrible pic. Its the only one i could get to load on site. Just trying to show the tabs
    Thanks in advance

Looks like some type of extra full turkey type choke to me. If it is a turkey choke its probably to tight for steel shot

You need better photos, but with the 5 studs on the inside of the choke, 90% sure it is an early model Patternmaster Choke. The pattern of the ports on the outside will also help in identifying the choke.

Do you even know what thread pattern ( Beretta Mobil choke,Winchoke, Rem choke, invector plus, etc.) the choke fits?

Hard to tell for sure from the pic but it looks like a Paternmaster. My early model one looks very similar to that tube.

Yea i know pics suck. I couldnt resize them worth a damn. I ended up calling patternmaster and speaking with Chip. I asked if he could help ID. I emailed him pics and he called me back like 5 min later. Valleyhunter is correct. It is a early patternmaster choke. Chip from patternmaster was great. Expained the no constriction with wad stopping idea behind their chokes. Asked what gun i was using and recomended shell size and velocity shots to try. He expained why 3.5" dont pattern as well with this choke, but said maybe try a 3.5 for up close over decoys and follow up by 3" for further range and ducks fly away. It was good to talk to CS person who understands thier product to get the most from it.
Thanks for the help guys, and good on patternmaster.
