    1187

I just picked up my Remington 1187 12 Ga. Today. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet,(Come on Saturday!)but it sure feels good, coming to the shoulder, swings and points sweetly. If any of you have a chance to deal with
El June, in San Diego, you won't be disappointed. He's a great guy. I got the 1187 from him!

I had to break mine in before it would cycle the 2 3/4 bird loads reliably.

I just ran some 00 magnum rounds through it, after that it cycles everything.

Thanks for the tip. How many rounds did it take?

It took about 15 rounds of the 00 magnum before it started to reliably kick out the bird loads.

Dont forget that remington currently offers a $50 rebate on the 1187.

If it's new, take it apart and clean it before you shoot it. Take a cloth and spray some oil on it, and wipe down the mag tube.

          Most Rem's shoot better "wet".
