    870 HD light mount?

I have seen this and was, wondering if anyone has used it and if they had any movement problems? I'm going to use the harbor freight free flashlight. It's plenty bright.
And how long can the mag tube be before buck shot will hit it
    It's the 6+ 1 if that helps. I want to get a plus 2 or 3.

Can't comment on that mount, but with the amount of el cheapo LED flashlights you can get on eBay nowadays, I don't think there could be a worse flashlight to use on a shotgun than the freebie Harbor Freight one.

At the very least, you will be so so so much better served with a cheap used Surefire G2 Nitrolon flashlight.

It wouldn't surprise me for one second if the HF flashlight blew out after firing a single shot.

I have 30 of those Harbor Freight free lights. Every one of them, without exception - is crap. They stop working after some time, the switches are garbage. I would never bet my life on one, I wouldn't even trust one to get me to the bathroom at night without stubbing my toe.

Get something from Streamlight or Surefire. PSA sells the Streamlight Polytac C4 for $20 sometimes - hard to beat that deal when they are blowing them out, they are $40+ on Amazon. I stocked up... http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.../view/id/1880/

Mine are great so far one is dented up pretty good. Our 3 year old used it to hammer some toys into the sand! I was worried about recoil. I love the quark tactical. But it's not one inch

That looks like a nice streamlined mount.

How do you like it? This might be a good idea. Then later I can get a, trs2. Any snag issues? I like the first one due to KISS. I will get a better light later. For now I am just going free

This is what I used to have:

I ditched it for a GG&G forend that has a rail section on one side.

That clamp will fit any 1" diameter magazine extension, if you want it you can have it because I will never use it.

Harbor Freight has it's place in life. But there is nothing in that store that I would want to have to bet my life on. YMMV

The only time it snags something is when I pull my shotgun out of it's Bore-Stor bag. Fibers from the inside of the bag sometimes get on the mount, buy my front sight (20" rifle sight barrel) gets snagged more.

The only things I don't like is that it doesn't match my gray parkerizing and it has extra rails I don't need. Other than that, for the price, it does what I want it to do.

I used that mount a few years ago. Didn't like having to slide it on/off the mag tube as it can mar the tube. Other than that it's a good mount that puts the lite close to the barrel and prevents possible snagging of the lite on something.

I use the CDM Gear "Mod C" mounts now along with the Streamlight. Easy on-easy off. http://cdmgear.com/lightmounts.html
