    Cabela's Anniversary Limited Edition

For those of you who are/were wondering what Cabela's Anniversary rifle looks like, the pics are below. This is a 20 inch tapered barrel. First pic is the stock.

The next pic is with a Kidd drop in single stage, a Kidd bolt assembly, and Kidd bolt buffer. On top is a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9 X 40 mm.

    Shoots like a champ.

Nice gun--for a rifle. You should have posed it with a whole row of of those Cabela's/Winchester oak ammo boxes you insist on buying.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I bought the one above at Cabellas in Dallas for $399. With tax, background, etc, I believe it came to around $470. A ridiculous price, but it's one of those "had to have" for me.

It turns out my wife Calamity started to shoot it and also fell in love with it. So, I "lost" it.

So, I set out to find another one for me. It turns out that C's had a hard time selling the rifles at that price so Ruger started to farm out what stock they had on hand to other dealers.

I checked on Gunbroker for the model 11165 and saw a few. I also looked at Bud's and they had them for around $332 I think it was. Free shipping, no tax, and I paid $45 for the transfer and background check at my favorite LGS. All in all about $100 less than buying it at C's.

The pics are in my other post "Another Ruger 11165 added to the family".

On another note, I noticed that C's has reduced their price to $349. Link below.
