Another Ruger 10/22 with simple upgrades

Picked up a Ruger 10/22 and wanted to fix it up a little while still keeping it simple (and cheap). Whaddaya think?

    Hogue overmold stock
    ER Shaw 18" bull barrel
    Cheap *** Barska 3-9x scope
    Even cheaper UTG bi-pod

Cost me around $450 for everything, including taxes, fees, shipping, etc..

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Just put it together over the weekend and been studying for finals this week. Hopefully will get to try it out this Saturday.

looks good, id recommend lower scope rings, you wont be able to get a really good cheek weld with the scope sitting up that high.

          id also recommend this: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/607...er-ruger-10-22

          or this: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/163...gs-ruger-10-22

they make the trigger MUCH better, and for a small cost.

and down the road, an extended mag release of your choice, they make a huge difference too once you have one.

your gun looks a lot like mine first 10/22-

i even have that same scope, its not bad for the cost, ill be upgrading mine and getting rid of the barska though.
