    True AR-7 Conversion

    Well I thought I would throw this out again as it's been awhile. I bought a Henry Survival Rifle (AR-7) several years back. I took the stock plastic steel lined barrel and fuggily plastic butt stock off the rifle and started to modify the rifle to match my other AR-15 rifles.

    I ordered a bull barrel and barrel shroud then made a adapter to accept a AR pistol grip and A2 butt stock. After some minor adjustment fittings and scope I have the design I was looking for. Rifle has very few function issues as most Henry Survival rifles do.

                  The attraction to the AR-7 for me is the ability to break the rifle down and fit in one complete, water-tight container which is no longer possible with the conversion.

                  That being said, as a bit of experimental gunsmithing, I think it's pretty dang cool. Good work.
