First Mod on savage

I'm picking up my first 22LR nextweek n I've been thinking about making bolt handle knob bigger .

do aftermarket company provides those parts or is that something i have to make it custom ( fabrication ) ..

you have a couple options assuming you have the tools and know how

first start by grinding down the current knob and then cut threads
then need to purchase a knob or machine your own

i see . other than replacing the bolt , that be the only way to go huh . I'll just leave it stock for now lol

Ya you are pretty much limited to 2 options

leave it in the stock form
or
send it out to a gun smith or machinist

I dont think anyone does aftermarket bolts for the MKII's
