Very nice. I have the exact same model as well as a camo bull barrel. Be gentle when tearing it down for cleaning.

I know they guy I bought it from told me to clean only every 3-5000 rounds. I've shot well over 1000 rounds thru it so far and cleaned 4-5 times without issue. I'm a mechanic by trade so I understand the need to be easy with her. Thanks for the tip anyway.

      How does yours shoot?

Send a request to S&W for some more of those plastic recoil buffers...

They used to send a couple out for free.

Mine hasn't broken (yet) after thousands of rounds, but it's a good idea to have a spare in your range bag so when it does finally break your day isn't over.

I clean the barrel on mine probably once a year, but I'll take a dry brush and clean out the action every couple of trips to the range.
