CZ 455 Varmint Precision Trainer

Thoroughly impressed with my CZ. After swapping to a match barrel, the rifle REALLY started to shine. Excited for future small varmint hunting...

This was at 50 yards using Hornady 20gr XTP rounds. All shots were 10 rounds unless identified. I only had an hour on the range so I felt a bit rushed.

Lots of 1" dots, I know... however, what is spectacular were the Lilja results...


CZ 455 VPT modifications:

• DIP trigger spring (measured at 1.5 lbs)
• DIP sear
• DIP extended rail
• DIP magazine well
• DIP extended magazine release
• DIP matte trigger guard (torqued to 25 in/lbs)
• Vortex Gen II 3-18x50
• Vortex/Seekin 0.92 rings
• Lilja .900 barrel (torqued to 35 in/lbs)
• Manners T4 stock, inletted

It is an off the shelf barrel (bought, shipped, and delivered in 4 days from Montana).

I installed it between range sessions. Takes all of 5 or 7 minutes. All CZ455 rifles allow interchangeable barrels.

Lilja hand laps their barrels. The quality of the their (his) work is well documented.
