It's stainless steel. The initial polishing was done by machine then finished off by hand. The trigger has been worked and is light and smooth as butter in double action. The hammer was replaced with a super wide target hammer which I polished along with the Hogue competition cylinder release. The trigger was polished as well.
This is a really fun gun to shoot.Comment

Mojamz who did your trigger work. I have a 617 that Im thinking of using for rimfire steel challenge and 2-gun matches and while the trigger isn't too bad if I could smooth it out some that would be great.John P. Hermesmeyer
