Will a ruger 10/22 shoot all 22 ammo? Long,short and wmr? If not what will if anything

It will not shoot wmr (magnums). I don't know if it will shoot shorts. The Henry and other manual rifles will shoot shorts, long, and long rifle. I think the auto may have feed issues. If the manual doesn't specify that it does, I wouldn't try it.

The 10/22 .22LR rifle will only feed .22 Long Rifle.

If in a pinch to fire a CB short (or similar rd) you can manually load one round and fire, probably going to have to manual eject though, but can be done.

Most .22 semi autos will not cycle with .22 Longs or Shorts.

WMR stands for Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 magnum) which is a totally different cartridge(wider, longer case) and is not compatible with any .22 lr firearms.

My 10/22 has cycled all Standard, High, and Hyper velocity .22 lr ammo I have tried.

I don't know about your 10/22, but mine (with a volquartsen target hammer) doesn't like Winchester 333's, but that might just be a mag issue (ruger bx-10) on my end.

I have a Marlin 60 that shoots different types of .22, the shorts seem to jam up sometimes though. Some .22 rifles are very particular about the ammo they will eat.

Look on the barrel it will state what ammo the rifle is made for, also in the owner's manual.

Unless you are sitting on a stockpile of .22 shorts, stick with .22LR for your 10/22.
