Best place to get 10/22 takeoffs?

I'm trying to build a Ruger 10/22, and for starters I want to use factory take-off parts to build a working rifle, then upgrade it later on as time goes by.

I have a post in the WTB section, but I'm wondering if there is a specific site that sells take-offs that won't break the bank? I'm not looking for top of the line parts, just used stuff that will work.

    Thanks in advance.

There's a decent amount here, I'd guess you aren't having much luck on your thread because you are wanting to trade.

I have a new synthetic stock off of my 50th anniversary 10/22, there is a seller with bare receivers which I think will be the hard part to find for you.

Yeah I figured I'd trade parts I've got for parts I need, hoping somebody will be interested.

Far as the receiver goes, I'm going to worry about that further down the line. I've been seeing info on bolt-together receivers that look pretty damn cool.

There was an FFL selling 50th anniversary brand new receivers here a few weeks ago, and I bought one for a build. Couldn't pass up a new receiver for $65 shipped. He had seven left at that time.

I don't need a receiver, just factory parts

It's cheaper to just buy a new rifle.

I'm already in the midst of DROS'ing several rifles, I'd rather not do another. Plus, it's much more fun to build it. Thank you for the site suggestion, i'll check it out

Go to the gun shows, there are dealers with take off parts.
You might as well save time and money, by getting good parts from the start, and don't waste time and money and ammo with factory parts.

I've found stocks, barrels and other parts on Craigslist before.

I've put my 10/22 project on hold for now. Thanks anyways, though.

Yes but depending exactly what you are wanting to get out of the build ,building is fun.
