What upgrades if any?

Picked up a M93 Savage in .17HMR came with the scope of undetermined mfg. What if any upgrades should I be checking out?

Boyds thumbhole stock...Oh and a good scope plus plenty of magazines and ammo.

Shoot it then decide. Might just be good as is. I do concur with the Boyds stock, I got one for mine. However Boyd's will no longer ship the thumbhole stocks to CA. Don't know what the magnification is on your scope but due to the range that a .17hmr will shoot a high mag scope is most useful. I use a Vortex 6.5-20x with mine.

The only things I tossed on my .22 Savage were a decent scope (Vortex Crossfire), a harris bipod, and a diy cheek rest (foam tubing and a sock). Savage's tend to shoot very well right out of the box.
