    17 HMR

I haven't seen much on 17HMR's recently. What is everybody doing?
I purchased a Savage 93R17 BTVLSS last July after seeing one at the range. I was looking for something that was fairly cheap to shoot but wanted something with a little more kick than a 22. I think that 17HMR is the perfect round. Relatively cheap, very accurate, and fun to shoot. I've shot out to 200 yards twice - desert and Angeles Range and was suprised how flat and accurate it was. I liked the rifle so much I'm planning on buying a CZ 452 for my birthday in March. I shoot left handed and there seem to be quite a few 452's available. I've already purchased a scope Weaver Classic V 4-16, rings, scope coat and gun sock to get ready. Here is a picture of my Savage and I'll post another one of the CZ after I get it set up.
    What are you shooting?

I have recently been afflicted by the 17 bug. Went squirrel shooting with some buddies on private ranch land and it was such a blast i bought a little Ruger 77/17. This is such a fun flat badass round! I think I read it has as much force at 100 yds as a 22lr at the barrel.
Beautiful set up by the way!

Just jailed a CZ 455! Super excited to take her home, it's a beautiful gun. I mainly plan on using it for squirrel shooting.
I also own a Henry in .17, that gun is just plain fun to shoot.
I will post some pictures here when I get my CZ set up with a scope and some rings.

Question:What rings did you get for your 452?

CZ 455 is an excellent choice, because you can change barrels and shoot .17, .22, and .22 mag.

I bought these products from Amazon. I'm pretty that everything will work when I get the rifle

            Leupold rifleman rings: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

UTG dovetail to Picatinny Rail adapter:

J&P Custom Products makes another adapter but they say you can only use Burris Zee Rings
