    [Found] Help finding a S&W 617

Tried a few gun shops around Milpitas/San Jose/Fremont, no luck. Most of them have it on backorder, but no ETA. I can continue calling all dealers in CA, but would appreciate any help. This is my first handgun, and I am hopeful someone has it in stock. Thanks again. (I am a long time lurker).

Put a deposit on your shop ordering one, or keep an eye out in the marketplace. You just missed one yesterday...

I am looking as well but down south so not a competitor.

They go quickly when seen if fairly priced so you have to check frequently.

I hope they get the "A" stamping business fixed quickly, I need a 617 to go with my 686+. Then have to think about a 629.

Okay, found one on gunbroker listed by bumblebee firearms - they have a few in stock, and so do Hyatt Guns.

Excellent choice for a first handgun.
The 617 is a sweet shooter, you won't regret getting one...

This loading block & speed-loader are handy accessories.

I only have one gripe: Cleaning time means there's ELEVEN tubes to scrub!

I have a 617 and it's worth every penny, it was my first as well.

                Best decision ever.
