Federal 40 grain supersonic is about the best feeding .22LR I've found for my Ciener conversion bolts.

I also got a bunch of 40gr Copper Plated Solid Federal Game Shok that I haven't tried yet. Most of this came from Trop Gun, 2 boxes of Automatch from Midway (got lucky, thank you Calguns for the heads up). Trop's prices are high but not insane, and their shipping is very fair. They don't have much now, Minimag HP for 0.11, but I now check them now and again.

I love the Federal 40gr Game Shok solids. I noticed a couple years ago that the ones that come in 100 round slide top boxes (810's), have CCI lot numbers on them, whereas the 500 round bricks (710's), have a Federal lot number. They both seem to shoot the same IMO.

Automatch and Golden Bullets are popping up everywhere. I'll usually grab enough to shoot, and just leave the rest. .22 was meant to be a cheap alternative to centerfire . Then again, you never know when the flippers will strike.

Cuyler, I got one (500) of each. I'll let you know if I notice a difference.

I will say that Aguila "SuperExtra" runs like crap. At 0.10 out of someone's trunk I'm holding on to it til I want to give it out cheap or get a second 22 (which will be a while).

Automatch is hit and miss for me. One box was most ok in my dad's GSG 1911, but as we ran out and switched to the next box every other round was stovepiping or FTE. Seems like the new ammo power was less and the slide did not fully open before stripping the next round. Lots of issues...

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

Works great in my model 60 also but not so good in my ultra picky Mosquito.

Fortunately the flippers will be needing to find another way to make money, not too many people are stupid enough to pay 8-10 cents a round for bulk ammo anymore.

I'd say your wrong. Maybe not the people on this site, but I come across people all the time looking for 22LR and willing to pay $40 a brick without thinking twice about it.

Unfortunately, there are still some CG members who are still willing to pay $40/brick. I've seen members sell their .22 at that price, within a day. I'll stick with waking up early on my days off of work, running down to Walmart, and picking up a brick or two at $18-$25/box.
