    Lusting after a Volquartsen Scorpion

I feel your lust. How long till the roster falls? I'm infringed from owning a nice target .22 pistol.

How does a company get their product on the DOJ Olympic exemption list? It would seem this pistol could qualify. Even if you could get an Olympic exemption, I suspect we could only get the non-threaded barrel which is too bad since the compensator appears to be pretty good.

Step 1. The International Olympic Committee and USA Shooting (USA Olympic Committee) sanctions the pistol for use in Olympic target shooting competitions.
Step 2. USA Shooting makes an official recommendation to CA DOJ BOF to add the (make/model/caliber) pistol to the Olympic Pistol exemption list.
Step 3. CA DOJ BOF approves the recommendation and adds the pistol (make/model/caliber) to the Olympic Pistol exemption list.

Handguns listed on the Olympic Pistol exemption list, are exempt from CA unsafe handgun laws [PC 32105] and CA assault weapons laws [PC 30515(c)(2)&(3)].

Sounds like the easiest way to have one legally is to move away from Commiefornia.

and here is the exempt list. There are some mighty fine pistols on it.

I don't know if it's exempt or not but people working on an SSE 2 version would look at this pistol and maybe find that the design of this pistol makes it slightly easier to convert into a bolt action. (if that ever allows you to purchase it here.) than a lot of other semi autos that don't lend themselves to being converted

SSE2 can not apply to a firearm that has ever been semi-auto.

Since Volquartsen makes this as a semi-auto, it can never qualify for SSE2.
