    S&W AR 15 22

I haven't seen any comments about the AR 15 22 as far as accuracy, any comments would be appreciated.
    Thanks Bill

Had mine for about 2 years now, it has the factory sights and no extras. Still "out of the box" and the thing is dead nuts. If I had room I would buy another. But now I need to invest in a bigger or 2nd safe. The worst part of the .22LR is feeding it.

M&P 15-22? Mine is very precise after burning through one magazine just to warm-up the barrel. That first mag is always a mess. After that it's dime-size groups or smaller at 25 yards.

Mine is new and it's more accurate than I can be. I'm going to try and rest it on the table today to see how close I can get it but I know it's going to be tight groups.

I've been shooting 22s for fifty years and out of the box it is the most
accurate 22 I have shot, stock sights no problem hitting hanging steel
targets at ASR out to 100 yds(offhand). Not ammo sensitive at least with 5
different types I have used. Highly recommend for starting out types
because it builds confidence. Also, works exactly like an AR. Pete

            Where have you looked?

When I typed in "15-22" in the search box for the rimfire forum it brought up 203 threads.

I'd be willing to bet there's a few of those talking about accuracy.

15-22 is a great rifle. Not Anschutz accurate, but that's not what it's designed for.

Just got back from the range after shooting on the rest bags. I hit 10 for 10 in the 1.5" bull at 25 yards, 8 of them would have fit in a quarter (OK, maybe a 50 cent piece). With no bags, I wobbled a bit but had decent groups.

I had the chance to shoot one a few months ago. They shoot well, and are accurate. I've never been a big fan of AR style 22's though.

Dozens of threads about them on Rimfire Central.

Love mine, would love to have Atleast one more in the safe. Accurate, lightweight, fun as heck to shoot,

I am happy with my Marlin 795. Those seem a bit pricy for a 22lr for me.

Enjoy my Spikes ST-22, rather accurate at 50 yd.

I've had mine for 6 months and 800 rnds. I can get mine at 2" groups at 50 yards with a red dot site. Check out smith-wessonforum.com, there is a M&P 15-22 section.
