    New Browning 22

Has anyone seen or fondled one of these? Yes there not on the roster. Curious about the polymer frame. Why didn't they just upgrade the sights on the original.

I've had mine for three months or so, flawless in function and performance and a true beauty as well!

My guess is that they want to keep the original looking just like the military 1911s.
Once they start changing the sights, grip safety and adding modern stuff like rails etc then go with a polymer frame.

I sure would like to get one of their new .380 versions.

The .380 got my attention also.Would have SSEd it if it had been released in time.

Recently purchased the Browning 1911-22 Compact, because I was looking for something that would digest whatever 22LR ammo I fed to it.
It has been a pleasure to shoot, and lived up to its reputation, in the time that I have owned it. Have about 500 rounds through it so far.

I also have the 1911-22 Compact it is a fantastic gun. If I had seen the one you are looking at I would have bought that instead due to the fact that I have large hands and if I am not careful the compact will give me hammer bite.

Same size as the 1911-22...about 85% of a standard 1911

This seems to be a decent price for an extra magazine(s) for the .22 LR Browning 1911. Most other places I’ve checked are $8-$10 bucks more.

                      The Midway price is $29.99.
I purchased 4 of them a little over a month ago for $24.57 each.
I checked back today and they have only gone up a bit, to $25.03.
For once, Cheaper Than Dirt has the best price!

Shipping was also very reasonable ($7.47) for 4 mags.
