    Range Report: CZ Scout

Some of this might not make much sense as I copied and pasted it here. The forum that I copied it from knows me and I refer to things only they know.

Back to my crude rifle rest. For what I was doing it worked fine. I've talked about the gravel and rocks at the range and here you can see why I don't shoot anything on the ground. But otherwise this is a great range. This is the 50 yard range and I was the only one there. I could hear someone shooting at the 100 yard range but it didn't effect me. I like having different ranges for different distances as ceasefires are also separate.

The targets on the left are at a 45 degree angle and you can adjust the distance by moving left or right. Shooting the left target makes you stand on the left. If you want to shoot the target to the right you then move right which increases the distance.

Since I only have the single shot mag I had to load each round but that wasn't a problem. After sighting the scope in I stood at the line and shot off-hand left-handed working the bolt with my right hand. It was even easier than I thought it was going to be. The trigger was perfect and I did a bump test to make sure it was safe.

The SV again seemed to be tight when I rotated the bolt. Not too tight but very snug. I was using a different lot ammo as I had some older SV left here in Ephrata.

I bought a Scout for my g-daughters and put it in a 452 American stock until they get big enough to shoot it. Until then, I am really enjoying it.
