    Sights for Marlin 60

I have a Marlin 60 in jail right now. I'm not a big fan of open sights, and was wondering what sights I should look at. I'm happy with sights on ARs, Tech Sights look like a good option, but I was wondering if there's anything else I should look at. I think the seller said it was made in 1983 if it matters.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Most of the info in the 795 megathread can be applied to the M60

If you don't like open sights, Scope it! At one time I had nine model 60s.[ I have 6 boys ] All but 2 wore scopes. I am most partial to fixed power scopes But have used 3x9s with good results. DR

            I've got a M99, that became the M60.
It has Tech sights on it and it's a shooter for sure.

+1 for tech sights. I had them on my Marlin 795 and they were beautiful.

Glenfield (Marlin 60) is getting a scope now. Marlin 60 with stock sights but trying different things to make it better. If that does not work I will put a scope on it as well. Both tube fed.

But, but, the Glenfield has a Squirrel on it.

(I own both - an early Glenfield, and a later model Marlin). Both have scopes on them. I tried the high mount peek through mounts, they did not work well for me.
