    GSG 5 Parts FOUND!!!

So after searching high and low and even contacting ATI and them saying they have no parts I got in contact with an employee named Carolyn. She was able to provide me a new barrel and breach block, bolt return springs, new breach bolt bolt and basically every part to rebuild the firearm. She works for ATI and was very friendly. If you are in need of parts call and ask for her she will help you with what you need. I can finally fix my GSG5 !!!!

I purchased the GSG5 1st anniversary this was prior to the HK lawsuit. To be honest I had allot of issues with failure to eject and would have to put a rod down the barrel to get the casing out. I would hope since 2009 that they have improved they changed the name to GSG 522 after the HK law suite. I will find out once I replace literally every part in the upper and see how she works. It has been sitting in my closet for 5 years now.

Agreed, but they were sold out of all the parts i required. I bought allot of accessories from them in the past.

To be fair, the Walther one is also made out of pot metal, but I've since put through at least 1500 rounds w/o any issues. Not picky with any ammo, which is great these days. I have heard and read of horror stories for the GSG 5 though...

I picked up a new one (GSG-522) about a month ago, at least 500 rounds through it, maybe 3 rounds that FTF, but likely ammo issue (remington bulk back)

I've had a ton of fun with it.

I do admit they have appeal. They are nice looking rifles. I had the original and the PK version.
