Anyone have a Stevens Model 62?

I need a pic of the feed ramp if possible. I have one and the feed ramp is part of the magazine housing. The feed ramp looks really low, wandering if it is just wore down that much or something else is awry..A good pic inside the chamber area with a the bolt back showing the feed ramp would help alot.

It does not feed correctly or I should say consistently. It bends the bullet nose and the rounds do not chamber all the time. I think it is just dumb luck when I can get a few in a row to function.

It is likely just a piece of crap. Maybe that is why it was 45.00

It looks like I may be missing that Cartridge guide.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you doing this for me. So I will just say Thank You..

Possibly a little different design in mine. But that would sure explain what is happening for sure.

check with Numrich Arms they have a replacement part called a bumper $5.70
not sure how to install might be easy fix The original you have to pull the barrel

Thanks. I already had the barrel off once so that is not a problem. I will let you know if that is my problem or not..
