    Shorts!

    uploadfromtaptalk1414618199858.jpg

Can't find these locally so ableammo.com to the rescue.

I'll be putting these thru a 1939 Winchester model 74, hopefully!
(or rather my wife will as she doesn't appreciate the .30-30)

On the slight possibility that the weapon does not like these, I understand they will probably not cycle a Ruger MK so maybe borrow another. 22 single shot just in case.

    Aren't they cute?

UUmmm--Ruger Marks, like virtually every other semi-auto, are 22LR only.

They will *fire* .22 shorts but not enough energy to cycle a new round

No shorts in a semi auto NOT designed/modified to use them.
Bolt or lever actions will eat them like Skittles. They are very pleasant to shoot and plenty accurate. (normally)
