    10/22 Scope Rings Height Question

    so im trying to mount a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3x9 Scope to my 10/22 and im not sure which height rings to buy.....currently i have this weaver mount http://www.midwayusa.com/product/531...10-22......its a bit higher than the rail that the 10/22 so im not sure if I should get med or low height rings....also what are some good rings....im leaning towards Burris Zees.....thanks yall

    When I got my Nikon monarch, I was told to get the lowest possible ring height that would allow the scope to clear my barrel/receiver. Basically the lower/closer to barrel bore the better.

      Sig Zee's in medium would be a good fit for the scope on the factory stock with that rail.

        I used the Warne 22 medium rings on a few of those with the same scope.

          I have Weaver medium rings on one of my 10/22s.

              I use Warne QD rings too, great stuff. What I like about the Sig-Zee's with a rimfire, is the ability to make up for limited adjustment of some scopes, especially when you shoot out to 100 yards. Even if a scope has a lot of adjustment, the closer the erector is to zero-zero, the more stable the zero will be.
