Just under 2 years ago I was looking for a better deal on 22lr ammo.
I posted a "help for a better deal" for my church. Some of the kids were so interested in learning to shoot once the word got out we were teaching them. Parents were on board, it was a beautiful thing.
The deal I was trying to better was a bulk (5200 rounds) Remington for $170 at Dunns. You see, at the time I remember in the not to distant past buying 500 round bricks for under $10 and really didn't want to spend $16 plus shipping.

newspaper editorial cartoons made fun of them by showing Carer's coupons pictured as a $1 dollar bill. The joke was how such sky high price of $1 per gallon was a major fail by Carter.

I paid 2.34 the other day

You have to spend about 500.00 over a month to get that discount on a card from the local Grocery Store chain, but it was 2.34 nonetheless..

It's funny how some things can change so drastically in such a short period of time. I'll be curious to see how far the price comes down when the hoarding ends.
