I installed a volquertson auto bolt release on my 10/22. The problem is now the bolt will not lock back at all. Anyone ever run into this???

Auto bolt release problem.. Help!!!!
"The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win and cheat if necessary."Tags: None -
The problem lies in that all but two of the aftermarket "auto release" bolt locks still have that darned slot instead of a proper pivot hole where the pin holds it into the trigger housing. The result is that you have to fish around until you can get the lock to hold. I use both the Rimfire Technology and the Kidd bolt locks, and they both have a round pivot hole, so the lock easily and release just as easily. The Kidd gets my mark for the best quality, it's stainless steel, and drops right in, which the R/T will not unless you file the part or use their smaller hammer bushings.sigpic
