    Savage fv-sr range report

I got my fist 22 the other day slapped a utg 3-9x32 (they call it the bug buster) I had it already. I was at an indoor range and had to squat and lean on the mid chest hight table. It was only ten yards but I am very happy.

At 2.50 a box that I paid for it, it was the cheapest 15-20 min I have spent at a range.

Each hole is ten rounds with cci standard velocity. There is a dime ther for reference it was fun shooting out the circles in the 9s

About 10 shots 1/4 moa clicks are nothing at 10 yards so to move and inch it was 40 clicks

Nice, I just picked up an old Remington 511, would love to scope it but it just wouldn't be right on that old gun.

          Right on, slip!

...hoping you soon experience the joy of shooting 50/100/200+ yds

I'm looking to get this rifle next month. Savage is running a $25 on Mark II's so that's nice

You'll have a lot of fun with the Mark II. I have a Mueller APT scope on mine and have fun shooting it at 200 yards.

Only issue I have with my FV-SR is the "kid sized" stock. Looking to upgrade soon. Other than that...awesome rifle.

It is silly quiet with suppressor & sub loads.

I think I've settled on the Tacticool stock for mine when I get around to it.

I thought about getting that stock, but I walk around a lot with the rifle. I'm going to go with a more traditional stock that's faster/lighter to shoulder.
