remington nylon 11 replacment stock

My coworker and friend has an old nylon 11 he was gonna turn into this past SD gun buy back because the stock is broken and melted and the magazine doesnt stay locked in but he was busy that day and didnt get around to it. I was joking when i offered him 50 cash for it and he surprised the hell outta me when he said i could have it for FREE!!

I went on numrich.com and they had every part for the gun except the stock. Ive googled icant find anything. Who's google-fu is stronger than mine and can point me in the right direction????

According to here http://www.chuckhawks.com/rem_nylon_rifles.htm It's the same as wood stocked 581. Maybe you could find wood stock that would fit?

jar head here from the other place. i'm looking bro, not having a lot of luck. there is a shop near my office that often has old odd ball ****. i'll check it out when i get a chance.

If the 581 was in fact just a wood stocked version of the same gun, then this should work:

Thanks guys, ill be looking into that 581 stock. If the 581 works ill use that till i can find a orginal 11 stock.

You will have a nearly impossible time finding a original for a Model 11.

Some sort of replacement is likely your only option.

If you get the 581 stock. I think you'll need trigger guard/bottom metal also. I think I seen trigger guard/bottom metal on ebay but no stocks.

Been googling maybe Remington 511 is same ? Google shows they use same magazines.

The 511 stock will be your best bet for a fit. The Nylon 11 stock will be impossible to find.

It is, if I had something to put in it, I'd already hit the BIN button.
Stock hardware is easy to find, much of the Rem 500 series parts interchange, and the Nylon 11 is based on them.
