    Marlin 795 - minimum velocity

Does anyone know what the minimum FPS ammo a Marlin 795 takes to cycle reliably? I am thinking of buying some in the 1150 fps range. I think thats considered standard velocity right?
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

I was shooting Remington subsonic out of mine perfectly fine. It is so silent almost like I had a silencer on lol! I was impressed with this round.

    Ballistics Information:
    Muzzle Velocity: 1050 fps
    Velocity Rating: Subsonic
    Muzzle Energy: 93 ft. lbs.

It tends to cycle anything above 1000 (maybe 1100) FPS well. Actually...every round, aside from the CCI shorts, have cycled in mine.

Yes about 1050 FPS is the lowest I have had good reliability with (CCI Standard Velocity) I have seen some get the 900 FPS or so cycle in some Firearms though..I have never tried.

When you get down into the 600 FPS stuff like CCI Quiets. No Way

I have shot Remington sub-sonic with no problems.
