Advantage arms conversion kits?

What are your guys opinions on the 22lr kits from advantage arms? I m looking to get one for a g17?

Is there a major difference between the ones for glock gen 3 and gen 4?

I've been using Remington Golden bullets in mine and I've not had one issue whatsoever. And I've had some nice groups with that ammo.

Due to a huge dental bill upcoming, I have been considering selling my AA .22 conversion kit for a G17 (gen 3).
I have extra mags too, everything very lightly used.
If you are interested, I will take a look and see just what I have.
I am not one of those people who think their used stuff should sell for the same or more than used, but I don't know what I'll ask for it just yet.

Like any .22LR, you need to try different brands. The one I have runs on any .22LR ammo. Wouldn't run Stingers in it.

IMHO, Advantage Arms makes the best Glock .22LR conversion kit. Best results are with CCI .40grain high velocity ammo. YES there is a difference between slides. You must order the correct slide for your Gen 3 or 4.

Anyone compare to a tac sol? Worth the extra $$$?

I have both the advantage arms and tac sol conversion for my Glock 22. The advantage arms conversion is very light weight and came with adjustable sights. The tac sol was a little closer to the standard weight of my Glock, but still was lighter. They are both a lot of fun. I have shot the advantage arms one a lot more and I have had pretty good luck with standard velocity ammo. Although so far I think my best reliability was with winchester power point. The newer tac sol conversions are better than the early ones and mine being the newer one has been reliable with many different types of ammo. Even more so than my advantage arms conversion, but not by much.
I wouldn't really be interested in paying more for the tac sol, but sense I get dealer cost it doesn't matter much to me.

I've got a AA kit for my G19 gen 3 and its almost 100 percent reliable with CCI Minimag 40gr. It works okay with Rem GBs, but gets dirty faster.

It runs best kept clean and oiled. Looking to get one for my G26 in case anyone here has one to sell.
