Have they made any improvements to it?


I have had mine for a while and have followed their ammo recommendation but the frame and barrel are damaged. The hammer block saftey on the slide has also become very inconsistent on wether it disengages. I know I can contact them and send it back under warranty but I do not really see a point if I am going to get back another pile of ****.

As far as I know, they have not made any changes to the design.
You can make lightning cuts on the frame rails though, to decrease frame cracking. The guys over at BJJ had a thread on it.

I would assume from a business perspective having to replace every product you release is not very cost effective.

Until I hear they have solved the problem I think I am just going to put the broken piece of crap in a marked plastic bag and toss it at the back of the safe.

This gun looks pretty cool and I'd be all over it if it didn't have the ridiculous 2 safety thing. Still might get it, it is pretty cheap.

If they redesign it then they would have to get tested again by the DOJ so without microstamping that would cause them to fall of the roster...

Two words... Gun buyback, although I'm not a big fan of them personally, if corporations or other organizations are paying for people to turn in junk you might as well get 100 cash or gift card.

(I don't think many these days are being paid for by taxpayers, but I could be wrong, and you could always check before you go.)

when you're down there that you could very casually look around at the guns in line and maybe buy something from someone who's about to turn it in with either your gift card or your gift card & a little cash at your closest FFL.

and it seems to me the Phoenix business model is the charge
4 x what it's worth at the start , that way if they have to give you a few replacements they still make a profit.

they are so cheap. just shot the snot out of it and get a new one when you have killed it lol. I don't even care about what ammo i put in mine, mostly fed bulk packs. Mine runs like a top. I would get another one if it broke, or just keep shooting it with the cracks unless it starts jamming.
