Very good news IMO. Amongst target shooters or those who need something other than .22 for blasting, it seems like demand has normalized, and this supports it. And seeing as how this isn't cheap ammo the *insert bad names* - uh I mean flippers - can flip quickly/easily for any significant amount of money, they don't seem to be gobbling this up. Hopefully I don't eat my words soon after this.

I'd buy this too if I wasn't saving up for SSE purchases.

When the price of 22lr approaches the price of magnum rimfire, the ammo hoggers will feel the diminishing return. They will have their cash tied in boat loads of 22lr in their garage.

I guess the market would correct itself. Patience is our virtue ?

^ this too. or even when rimfire costs meet or exceed (surplus/cheap) centerfire costs. that and simply put, what exactly is one going to do with that much rimfire? i know it doesn't go bad fast, but it will go bad, and i doubt most of these flippers are properly storing their boatloads of 22. even if they shoot it, i'd imagine they'd wear out their firearm/s long before they got through it all.

also, a random aside: i understand that there are such things as going rates, and sometimes someone just has an extra box or two they want to sell or needs to unload some higher end stuff that their firearms just didn't like. i'm not knocking on these people. i'm unhappy about the people who have memorized or know every shipment time/schedule and camp out at these places or show up at 4AM to stand in line just so they can rip someone else off for an extra $20 or $40 when even a minimum wage gig would probably rake in much more than $20 or $40 every few days.

I'm not a fan of scalping but anyone showing up at 4am to camp is pretty mental IMO. They probably should make some cash.

SSE purchases are going to really hurt me too, but I didn't want to pass up on these. Pistol classes are going to wait until next year.
