Ruger 10/22 Takedown: Can I still replace its original stock?

Are there any limits as far as replacing the stock/furniture, etc. on the Takedown version or would it be just like the original? Thanks in advance!

short answer is no.. they're not the same as a one piece..

but you do have choices.. I've already eyeballed these while considering buying a take down..

I understand that. That pretty much goes with everything... anyway, that wasn't my question, let me clarify: will the Takedown be compatible as a "drop in" with commercial aftermarket stock/furniture meant for the original or will I have to make mods everytime specifically for it?
