    Cabelas Mini-Mags for .04/round

Received my tracking numbers for an order of (15) 500 round packs of 40gr. Mini-Mags I placed on 3/31/04. Shipped price was $589.80, but I had a $50-off-$500 coupon that brought the total down to $539.80. For some inexplicable reason people are still buying the sleeves on eBay for a minimum of $3.25/ea. plus shipping. So 7-8 auctions of 10 or so sleeves will net me out at least $200 after fees and shipping...probably a little more.

$325+/- and a couple hours of hassle with the Foodsaver for 7500 rounds of Mini's...sure beats waking up early for weeks and going to WalMart.

What the heck is the reasoning behind buying the cci minimag containers?

Ha...2004. The pricing would be about right. I have 5000 mini's on backorder from Midway on a 01/14 order. Good news is some guys have posted receiving their 11/13 orders, so maybe we're getting close.

No clue at all. At one point some people thought they were reselling "fake" MiniMag sleeves loaded with crap ammo. But I was able to find some Golden Bullet plastic cases several month's back and those sold just as well. I think some people like to put their bricks into sleeves. I'm fine sticking my sleeves in Foodsaver bags for long-term storage, so they can have 'em!
