    Older Gun - New Scope

I decided to change out the standard .22 scope on my Marlin .22 rifle.
It's inexpensive Simmons 4-Power Scope but it's a up grade from the old one.
    So what do you think??

(OK - This one is just for fun)

I haven't made the final adjustments, just wanted to get some thoughts

    I've got a Simmons 4x on my marlin 60 and a Remington Nylon 66.
Decent scope for the price and all I will ever need a .22 rimfire.

I have the same Bushnell scope. Worked great for many years and the mount was pretty decent for attaching to a dovetailed receiver.

Is that the Simmons 22 mag scope?

I put one on an old Winchester 190.

It is a whole lot better than the original.

The quick twist focus is great!

Enjoy that one as it is a worthy scope for a .22.

I can case you were wondering...

What I did with the old scope:
I had a Marksman Plainsman bb gun that was sitting around and just for the heck of it, I put it on and what do you know _ it fits!

Ironhorse to answer your question - Yes it is a Simmons 22 mag scope

Might be just me, but those rings look taller than they need to be. Other than that, congrats on the upgrade.

The Savage I just bought had that same scope. Seems OK to me. I already have a Vortex Viper to replace it and the Simmons is going to go on the Nylon 66.
