Marlin 795 LTR. Where to buy

Anyone know of any in SoCal? Thinking if getting a 795 and doing Appleseed eventually, but saw this model and figured I'd save myself some time setting it up myself. My googling seems to make it look like they started shipping late last year. Never seen one though. Thanks.

I have not seen new LTR's for sale in a while.
Your best bet would be to buy a 795, tech sights, and a $92 Boyd's stock.

These may have been a one hit wonder. -g

Rumor is they are not making them anymore...

That model doesnt even show up on galleryofguns.com any more.

So its probably best to just set one up the way you want it then to spend time looking for a LTR

I asked on RFC and someone who spoke to Marlin at the NRA show said the LTR was a limited run.

That would be your best bet.

Or you can get the ruger10 22 50th anniversary edition that was designed by an appleseed guy. Basically rugers version of a setup ltr

Love my 795 with tech sights.

I used to have a scope on it before the Appleseed program, now I just love shooting it through the open sights. It's just plain fun and makes it more challenging.
