    Mossberg plinkster?

I see one on sale for $99 (online so add $30 transfer). How is this rifle? Ive felt one before at Wal-Mart, but never shot one. How us tge accuracy? Would I be bummed I didn't spend the extra dough on a marlin 795 or the like or is it nice? I kniw the fit and finish isn't great but that's pretty darn cheap.

    There's a reason it's pretty darn cheap.

795 may not look tacticool, but it's a much better rifle.

        Zero aftermarket support.

        Get a Marlin.

I bought one about a couple years ago and right off the bat I was getting stove pipes and fail to feeds. I sent an email to Mossberg with photos of the rounds that had been ruined while attempting to feed, and was told to send the rifle in immediately.

Doing some searches I found the feed ramps were causing problems for others so I did a fluff and buff rather than ship the rifle back. Since then, everything is fine. For the money, it's a cheap, fun gun to shoot.
You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.
