Recent experience with the M-22 Winchester ammo.
Test 1: 10/22 Ruger, 1 mag 10 rounds. each shell ejected a different distance the difference was significant enough to notice. after a few rounds misfire "click". Check the primer and it was a solid hit.
Test 2: Ruger 22/45, 1 mag 10 rounds. each shell ejected a different distance the difference was significant enough to notice. after a few rounds misfire "click". Check the primer and it was a solid hit. Also it was common to have failure to feed.
Test 3: buckmark, 1 mag 10 rounds. each shell ejected a different distance the difference was significant enough to notice. after a few rounds misfire "click". Check the primer and it was a solid hit. Also it was common to have failure to feed or eject.
Test 4: CMMG AR-22, 1 mag 10 rounds. each shell ejected a different distance the difference was significant enough to notice. after a few rounds misfire "click". Check the primer and it was a solid hit. Also it was common to have failure to feed or eject.
Editted 9forgot to mention: Test 5: marlin 795, 1 mag 10 rounds. each shell ejected a different distance the difference was significant enough to notice. after a few rounds misfire "click". Check the primer and it was a solid hit. Also it was common to have failure to feed.
Conclusion the ammo suffers from poor powder loading QA and the charges very so drastically that the ammo is unreliable.
Follow Up test to confirm this was not a gun issue, we used Golden bullet and Eley standard with no issues.
We also mixed the M-22 with Golden bullet and found the random issues always related to the M-22.
