GSG STG 44 Buyers Be Aware

I picked up my GSG STG 44 from Turners today and it came in a cardboard box. They aren't including the wooden crate anymore. I'm bummed.
The wooden crate collector value was a huge factor in my decision to buy a $500 22 rifle.

Last Ontario Gun Show had them in the cool wood box for same price, don't buy from Turners then.

That's a bummer, mine came inside of a wooden crate inside a cardboard box.

I was selling them for $425 with a crate and no one wanted them. I dumped them on gun broker.

I paid $459 on sale. After DROS and tax it just over $500.

its way over priced for what it is.

When they first came out(which was awhile ago), the importer said
that the wood boxes would NOT be available at some later date,which
I guess is here now.I like the rifle and would have bought it if it came in a
brown paper bag. Pete

Aside from the nice logo it looks like a plain pine box that you could build in an hour. Sure it would be nice to get but no real practical use.

50 years from now rifles with it will be a collector item which will demand $$. Just my $0.02 I maybe wrong.
