      That's nice of them and all but if they were really trying to sell some guns, you would think they would offer a better deal than $10 in savings on retail and free shipping.

              True, but they don't have to. They can't make 'em fast enough as it is, and "free shipping" wouldn't matter for a gun since it's got to go through an FFL anyway.

              Did Ruger really stop selling to California? I hope they followed Ronnie Barrett's example if they did.

                      I don't know from guns, but I bought some parts, because I build 10-22's as a hobby. I needed a case for my new 22-45, wanted a couple coffee cups, and a Hi-Viz front sight for my Alaskan. With the 10% off and free shipping, I figure I saved about $20 on the front sight.
