New Buckmark with TacSol Barrel and Comp

Just put this together today and can't wait to shoot it next week. I Had to save some pennies but I think it was worth it! For those who aren't familiar, its a Browning Buckmark UFX with a Tactical Solutions 5.5" barrel and compensator. My buddy just got one last month and let me shoot it. Big Mistake as I was hooked and had to get one as well.

Next up is some FO sights and maybe even a top rail with RDS. Already removed the Mag disconnect and have read about the spring flip. Anyone else have one of these know of a good trigger upgrade?

P.S. Tried putting it in the Buckmark picture thread but it wouldn't let me saying that thread was over 120 days old?

Nice! How did you permanently affixed the compensator?

The barrel came with the comp already pinned when I got it. As I understand it, Tacsol does these for the states with restrictions, just have to find someone who is selling them. This one came from a place up in Alaska funny enough http://www.mizzoumuleguns.com/index.html

Might have luck calling Tacsol directly as well. Be prepared, the barrel and comp cost darn near what the gun cost, but I think its worth it! You almost feel like a Bond villain holding it!

I'm in Texas right now so I ordered a 22/45 , need to figure out how to affix it before I move back to CA. I was able to find the frame and a tacsol upper but it ended up being way over the price of a lite.

Used to run this setup. Light and accurate. Unfortunately the front rail screw threads at the back of the barrel are prone to failure. Good luck.

I'll have to keep an eye on that, wasn't aware it was a problem. Good warranty from Tacsol supposedly.

What kind of failure? Stripped screw or?

And yeah, I'm posting everywhere as I'm pretty excited. Plus I was hoping someone at RFC might suggest a trigger upgrade!

Well, since I also belong to RFC, let me provide you with a link.

The thread insert falls out (glue failure of steel to aluminum). Poor design.
