    10/22 Mod Question

Been offered to buy this 10/22. I know you can mod the crap out of these things but my question is.... can this be easily fitted back into a standard stock that I see for sale on here?

Are all 10/22 for the most part able to be changed and modded?

What do you think this is worth in this configuration? I have no idea age but I've purchased from this guy before and all his guns are really clean.

I've never owned a 10/22 but know they are awesome.

    Thanks for the help!

    Yes.
    Yes.
Maybe $250 or so, depends on the quality of the scope, too.
I own a bunch of 10/22s and yes they are awesome.
    You're welcome!

      Easy to do.

Most of us seem to have two or three unused 10/22 factory stocks lying around so finding one takes no effort.

Check the barrel length as it is though. With that BC stock you need an 18 inch barrel to keep it legal.
      It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

Looks like a OEM barrel and trigger group so I'd say its 90% OEM anyways just the stock. (not counting scope and rings)
Just need to switch out the stock for an OEM one if you want to get it back to factory. Which as others have said are very common as "take offs". Shoot I bet someone might give you one for free if not ~20 bucks.

Like others have said be mindful of Over All Length of 26" which is the federal limit.
But CA measures this from the most compact fireable configuration. Which on this would be possible with the stock folded.

Do what ever you want. You can go back and forth with ease. Looks like a nice set up if that's what you're after and the price is good. Gotta have irons for back up IMHO. PAX

Looks like you just need a factory stock and your GTG!

                checkout rimfirecentral.com

They have a whole section on 10-22's. There is a huge aftermarket parts potential for that gun.
